True healing doesn't come from a checklist of coping skills. It comes from understanding the deeper emotional patterns that hold you back.

Healing Happens in a Relationship:

These protective survival mechanisms didn't develop by accident, they originally grew in response to a relationship in your past. Because these patterns started with people, they cannot be resolved in isolation.

With artificial intelligence (AI) everywhere today, it is easy to wonder why you still need a therapist. While AI can offer quick strategies or instant reassurance, it cannot offer a real human relationship.

​

Your deepest challenges likely happened within relationships, whether with a parent, sibling, a partner, or a boss. Therefore, the path to authentic recovery must happen within a safe, attuned relationship. This is why the therapeutic alliance is the single biggest predictor of positive change.​

My Approach to Therapy:

I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and emotionally attuned space where you can safely explore these deeper patterns. My therapeutic approach is primarily informed by Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), alongside tailored evidence-based therapies like CBT and mindfulness. Together, we will gently confront the blocks preventing you from stepping into your most authentic self.

Areas of Practice:

I provide therapy to young people (15 years+) and adults. While I work across a broad range of clinical presentations, my practice focuses primarily on:

  • Complex Trauma & Emotional Blocks

    • Addressing PTSD, past experiences, personality difficulties, and unhelpful life patterns.

  • Anxiety, Depression & Life Transitions

    • Navigating chronic stress, low mood, grief and loss, substance use, and major life changes or adjustment difficulties.

  • Fertility, Perinatal Health & Family Building

    • Specialised support for preconception, IVF, donor conception, surrogacy, reproductive loss, and perinatal/postnatal mental health.

  • Eating Disorders, Body Image & Self-Esteem

    • Healing distressing relationships with food, body image concerns, and deep-seated self-criticism.
